SEPTEMBER 2008:
PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE:
No Available at Press Time.
EDITORS REMARKS:
OK – Once again I thought of a fantastic remark (even if I say so myself) while driving to work this morning-but I forgot what it is???
I want to say thanks to Heather for keeping us up to date on the health of some of our not so fortunate fellow Lions-it is important.
Now I want to challenge some of our other Lions – when I open my e-mails I want GOOD news. There has to be some out there – a new grandchild, a new car, a new job or just a job. Just the fact that you are feeling good – you ran a marathon – you caught a 10lb bass – something good. There is enough bad news out there so let’s make an effort to get some of the good stuff out there.
My good News – Saw the movie Mama Mia – loved it – go see it!! – Finally figured out how to catch the Peacock Bass in my lake – anybody wanna fish come on over.
